This policy explains what information K-Trip Buddy ("we") handles when you use ktripbuddy.com and chat with our AI assistant, Tribby.
Information we handle
- Chat messages. The questions you send to Tribby and its answers. Before storage, we automatically mask common personal details such as email addresses, phone numbers and passport-like numbers.
- A random session ID. Stored in your browser so a conversation can continue. It does not identify you personally.
- Link clicks. When you click a partner offer, we record which offer was clicked and from which page, so we can measure what is useful.
- Basic analytics. Anonymous usage statistics such as pages visited and country.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use it
To answer your questions, improve our guides and recommendations, keep the service secure, and measure partner referrals.
Third parties
- AI model provider — processes chat messages to generate answers.
- Hosting and analytics providers — run and measure the site.
- Booking partners (e.g. Klook, Agoda, Trip.com) — when you click a partner offer you leave our site, and the partner's own privacy policy applies to your booking.
Retention
Chat records are kept for up to [RETENTION PERIOD] and then deleted.
